Leaf & Bloom makes a rosemary hair toner, a hair oil and a lip balm. Nothing else. They are mixed, filled and labelled in small batches in Lahore, and every ingredient in all three is named in full on the page you order from.
How we work
Thirteen in the toner, ten in the oil, eight in a tin of the balm and nine in the strawberry. The counts are there so you can check them against the lists.
A batch is made start to finish in a day, in quantities small enough for one person to watch. When one runs out it is out until the next.
No ratings, no customer counts, no medical promises. What is missing from these pages is missing on purpose.
The range
Three products, and each one’s full ingredient list is on its own page.
A water-based spray you leave in. It goes onto a dry scalp and dry lengths, is massaged in, and is not rinsed out. Thirteen ingredients, nine of them botanicals, printed on the bottle in the same order they are printed on its page — so the two can be read against each other, line by line.
The heavier one of the two. It is left on for a few hours or overnight, three or four times a week. Ten names on the label: nine plant oils and Vitamin E. Vitamin E is not an oil, which is why this site never counts ten of them. One of the nine is tea tree oil, and some people are sensitive to it.
A plain balm in a small screw-top tin, put on with a finger — there is no applicator inside. Eight ingredients in every tin, nine in the strawberry, which adds beetroot for its colour. The three names are scents: there is no strawberry in the strawberry tin and no cocoa butter in the cocoa butter one.
Three products is the whole range. Two of them are for hair and one is for lips, and they are meant to be used up rather than kept.
What goes in
The list on the page is not a summary of the label. For two of the three products it is the label.
The toner’s thirteen names are printed on the bottle, and the same thirteen appear on its page in the same order. The Root Rise Oil’s ten are printed on its bottle the same way. In both cases the printed label is the source and the page is copied from it, so you can hold one against the other without translating between them.
The Lip Balm is the exception, and it is worth saying plainly rather than leaving you to find out: its lid carries the brand, the scent name and 10 ml, and no ingredient list. So the list lives on its page instead, and that is the copy that gets kept up to date.
Each name is described by what it is, not by what it does. “Rosemary — the herb this toner is named for” is a fact about the bottle, and that is the most any name on any of the three lists is asked to do. A sentence about what an ingredient does to hair or skin would be a claim nobody here has tested, so no ingredient on this site is given one.
Two of those names are worth catching before you order rather than after. Sweet almond oil is a nut oil, pressed from sweet almonds, and it is in both the oil and the balm. Tea tree oil is in the hair oil, and some people are sensitive to it. Everyone reacts differently: if you have sensitive skin or a known allergy to anything on a list, patch test before full use.
Plainly
Some of what is missing from these pages is missing on purpose.
Most hair oil is sold on a promise: regrowth, an end to hair fall, a result by a certain number of weeks. None of that appears anywhere on this site. Nobody has tested these products for any of it, so there is nothing to print. What the pages do instead is name what is in the bottle, say what the product is and how it is used, and stop there.
The same goes for the words. No certification is claimed anywhere on this site — nothing about how the ingredients were grown, nothing about testing in a lab, nothing about a doctor’s approval — because no such certificate exists. None of the three products is offered as a treatment for anything, and we cannot give medical advice: if something is wrong with your scalp or your skin, a doctor is the right person to ask, not a shop.
And the same goes for the numbers. There is no star rating, no review count and no customer total on any page, because the shop has not opened and every one of those figures would have to be invented. There is no line telling you how few are left either, because there is no live stock figure behind a line like that. When reviews do arrive they will be real ones, read by a person before they appear, and the critical ones get published too.
What is left is the ingredient list, the size, the price, what the product is for, and a way to reach a person. If you want to know something that is not on a page, ask us — and if we do not know, we will say so rather than guess.
How we decided what to put here
Both hair labels make a promise about your hair — the toner’s and the oil’s, in the same words. You can read it on the bottles in the photographs. This website does not repeat it, anywhere, because nobody has tested it — and a promise about your hair that nobody has tested is not ours to make.
The same rule took other things off these pages. A supplier sheet described the cocoa butter balm as blood red; the balm is cream, so the sheet was wrong and the photograph was right. What is left is what we can show you: thirteen ingredients in the toner, ten in the oil, eight in a tin of the balm and nine in the strawberry, each one named, made in small batches in Lahore.
The making
Not a factory line. Four steps, and a person at each one.
Everything is bought in small quantities, so nothing sits around losing its point.
A batch is made start to finish in a day, by hand, in quantities small enough to watch.
Poured, capped and sealed the same day it is made, so what reaches you is as fresh as the batch it came from.
The toner and oil bottles carry the full ingredient list, the batch number and the dates. The lip balm tin does not yet — its lid carries the flavour name and 10 ml, and its full list is on its own page. Anything that does not look right does not go out.
When a batch runs out it is out until the next one. We would rather tell you to wait a week than keep something on a shelf for a year.
In writing
Four things you could catch us failing at, which is the only kind of promise worth printing.
Every ingredient is printed in full on the product page, and on the toner and oil bottles themselves. If a name is not on that list, it is not in the bottle.
If a product arrives damaged or expired, we take it back or exchange it, and we cover the cost of the return.
You pay the courier when the parcel is in your hand. Nothing is charged before that.
When we do not know something, we say so rather than guessing — including anything medical, which we cannot advise on at all.
Where we are
Every order is packed and dispatched from Lahore and reaches addresses across Pakistan within 6 working days of the order. The courier is PostEx, and they carry every order we send.
Cash on delivery is available nationwide: you pay the courier when the parcel is in your hand, and nothing is charged before that. Delivery is a flat Rs 200, or free on orders of Rs 2,500 or more, and every price on the site includes tax.
Our week is Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm, and a message on WhatsApp reaches a person rather than a form.
